About me

My passion for creative design has driven me to pursue a career in the design industry. After excelling in art and design courses, I studied graphic design at university and earned a postgraduate degree in 2021.

Upon graduation, I sought opportunities to work on real-world graphic design projects. When my cousin started a dropshipping business called Rattan City, I offered my design services. Although I had limited web development experience, I eagerly took on the challenge of creating the brand’s logo and building an e-commerce website using Wix. Through trial and error, I successfully developed a fully functional online store, complete with a mega menu and site maps, and managed the brand’s Facebook presence to drive sales.

To further enhance my practical skills, I secured an apprenticeship at a telecom services and equipment company. There, I managed social media accounts, crafted promotional blog posts, and gained valuable hands-on experience. Recognizing my graphic design expertise, the company entrusted me with rebranding efforts, such as redesigning their logo and producing high-quality flyers for broadband promotions.

After a year, I transitioned to a full-time position, taking on significant administrative responsibilities, including overseeing social media campaigns and monitoring site traffic. When tasked with updating the company’s outdated WordPress website, I eagerly accepted the challenge, despite my lack of experience with the platform. Through perseverance, I successfully modernized the website.

Eager to create a website independently, I built Wickerland, a fully functioning e-commerce site that showcased my design abilities and allowed me to experiment with various themes and website builders. I then leveraged my social media presence to attract clients for logo and website projects, ultimately leading to the establishment of my own design platform, Saaj Graphics.
